Note: A Medication Request Form must be filled out by your child's physician, and must either be sent into the camp office ahead of time or accompany the medication being dropped off.
Medication must be in the original container, including the label with your campers name, dosage, and the prescriber's name.

In addition to many other subjects, GBA provides a wide array of Video Game Development courses for all ages and skill levels. While developing their games, campers apply and strengthen their math, logic, communication, concentration and critical thinking skills, as well as gain a great deal of self-confidence! By the end of every course, each camper gains a fantastic working knowledge of the technical and artistic concepts necessary in designing video games, and will receive their own finished game to bring home for friends and family to play!
Campers interested in a mastery in Video Game Development will earn a special video game designer certificate and business card for completing 3 video game courses over the summer!
VG1: Junior Game Design and Coding
Create your Very First Video Game!
Go beyond playing games鈥攎ake your own! In this exciting hands-on course, campers will design and code their own fully playable video games from the ground up using GameMaker software. No shortcuts鈥攋ust pure creativity and real coding as they build original characters, artwork, sounds, and levels from scratch. Along the way, they鈥檒l learn how games truly work while seeing their problem-solving skills and self-confidence soar. By the end of the course, each student will have a one-of-a-kind game they can proudly play and share with family and friends!
VGV: 3D Game Design & Virtual Reality
Design, Build, and Step Inside Your Own 3D Worlds!
In this hands-on course, campers will explore the thrilling world of 3D game creation and virtual reality! Using professional tools like Unity 3D and the Meta Quest VR system, 糖心传媒 will design immersive environments, sculpt 3D landscapes, and build action-packed interactive levels they can actually step inside and explore! Along the way, they鈥檒l learn the fundamentals of 3D development, environmental storytelling, and game balancing鈥攁ll while experimenting with lighting, game rules, atmosphere, and an array of interactive objects to bring their ideas to life. By the end, each camper will have designed a finished virtual game world ready to showcase and share!
VGR: RPG Game Design
A Game Design adventure of Epic Creativity!
Step into the world of storytelling and game creation as you design your very own role-playing video game! In this fan-favorite genre, campers build imaginative worlds filled with heroes, monsters, quests, and surprises around every corner. Using RPG Maker鈥檚 powerful tools and event-based coding system, campers will design sprawling maps, diverse characters, engaging dialogue, and action-packed battles鈥攑erfect for creators of all skill levels. Whether inspired by games like Undertale, Pok茅mon, or their own imagination, campers will bring their ideas to life taking home a fully playable game to show off and share!
VGX: Roblox Game Design
Go from Roblox Player to Creator!
Publish the next big Roblox hit using Roblox Studio! With access to the same tools used to make the most popular games on Roblox, campers will learn all the skills needed to build and publish their very own Roblox games! From action-packed Obbys to huge open-world adventures, campers can create anything imaginable as they explore Roblox Studio鈥檚 versatile creative tools and LUA coding platform. Make new friends and create amazing games this Summer!
Schedule: For campers entering 2-5 grade your morning will be in the program that you choose and the afternoon will be in a recreation group of 8-10 campers of the same grade and gender where all campers enjoy lunch, instructional swim and recreational sports. For campers entering 6-10 grade your morning will be in a recreation group of 8-10 campers of the same grade and gender where all campers enjoy lunch, instructional swim and recreational sports, and your afternoon will be in the program that you choose.
