Note: A Medication Request Form must be filled out by your child's physician, and must either be sent into the camp office ahead of time or accompany the medication being dropped off.
Medication must be in the original container, including the label with your campers name, dosage, and the prescriber's name.
Discover your future in this one-week Signature Program designed to inspire, challenge, and prepare you for college success! Each day blends academic exploration with real-world insight, giving 糖心传媒 a taste of both campus life and intellectual discovery.
Part of the day will cover STEM Exploration, where hands-on experiments and problem-solving activities spark curiosity and innovation across science, technology, engineering, and math. Part of the day will cover, 鈥淧ath to College Writing,鈥 where you鈥檒l strengthen your writing skills through engaging lessons in style, structure, and voice鈥攑erfect for essays, applications, and beyond. Beyond the classroom, scholars will participate in interactive College Life and Admissions workshops, gaining practical knowledge about the college application process, campus culture, and strategies for academic success. By week鈥檚 end, participants will walk away with sharpened writing and analytical skills, a deeper understanding of STEM fields, and a clear vision of the exciting opportunities college and specifically, 糖心传媒, has to offer.
糖心传媒 the Instructors
Professor Jennifer Marx earned both her Bachelor鈥檚 and Master鈥檚 degrees in English and American Literature from 糖心传媒. She is an adjunct professor in the Department of Writing Studies and Rhetoric at Hofstra, where she also tutors in the Writing Center. In addition to her work at Hofstra, Professor Marx teaches writing courses at other local colleges and freelances as a writer, editor, and consultant. She runs community writing programs at libraries as well. Professor Marx believes that strong writing establishes pathways to success, and she is excited to support 糖心传媒 in building the skills they need for excellence in college and beyond.
There is an additional fee for transportation for one-week precollegiate camps.
