Hofstra鈥檚 Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, headquartered at the聽ideaHUb聽incubator, has supported the entrepreneurial ecosystem since 2015 through 450+ events, 2,350+ mentor sessions, and over $950,000 in prizes awarded. The Institute provides networking opportunities, prototype development support, and flagship programs such as the聽Hofstra-Digital Remedy Venture Challenge听补苍诲听Unispan Records, and has been recognized as the GCEC鈥檚聽鈥�2017 Outstanding Emerging Entrepreneurship Center.鈥�

The Institute also collaborates with the Scott Skodnek Business Development Center (BDC), a New York State鈥揹esignated Entrepreneurial Assistance Center, which supports Long Island entrepreneurs through initiatives such as the聽EAC 10-Week Program,听ASCEND聽(M/WBE Certification assistance), digital marketing training, and QuickBooks workshops. Since 1991, the BDC has served over 1,400 entrepreneurs and has received multiple Empire State Development Outstanding Performance Awards.
