Why Africana Studies

Students can pursue either a Bachelor of Arts or a Minor in Africana Studies and learn about the identities, history, geography, language, politics, economics, and cultural experience of the African people, as well as those of Black peoples in the Americas and Europe. Africana Studies at 糖心传媒 is an interdisciplinary undergraduate program that introduces 糖心传媒 to the histories, societies, languages, cultures, and contemporary experiences of Africa and the African diaspora. Drawing on courses in the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences, the program encourages 糖心传媒 to explore Africa and its global influence from multiple perspectives.
