Hi everyone! My name is Michaela Lewis, and I’m a Health Science student with a minor in Community Health at ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½. In addition to working in the Game Room, I serve as a Resident Assistant, Peer Wellness Educator, and Psychology Research Assistant. I’m passionate about building connections and making a meaningful impact on the Hofstra community. Working in the Game Room gives me the opportunity to create a fun and welcoming space where ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ can relax and connect with one another. I enjoy being a Hofstra student because of the many opportunities to grow, network, and be both inspired and inspiring within a supportive, diverse community. My advice to incoming ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ is to embrace who you are, explore new interests, and take full advantage of the opportunities available to you. College is the time to discover what excites you and to shine through any challenges you may face.

Hi, I'm Ben Cohen! I am a senior Fine Arts student at ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½, concentrating in Design. In addition to my academic pursuits, I serve as the President of the Hofstra Tabletop Gamers Club and the Vice President of Hofstra eSports. Outside of school, I am a passionate Disney fan, enjoying frequent trips to the Disney World parks whenever I can. I love working in the Game Room because it’s a fun, relaxed space where I can connect with my co-workers, share laughs, and catch up with friends who stop by. My advice to incoming ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ is to get involved in clubs and organizations, as it’s a great way to meet new people and form lasting friendships. One of my favorite things about being a Hofstra student is spending quality time with friends—whether we're exploring the beautiful campus, heading to the nearby Roosevelt Field mall, or simply enjoying movies together.

Meet MeiLi Haan, a dedicated student majoring in Sustainability Studies and Music Business, with double minors in Geology and GIS. She is also a proud member of the Rabinowitz Honors College. MeiLi is highly involved on campus, serving as the production chair on the executive board of Hofstra Concerts and as Secretary of the Hofstra LEAF Club. She is also an active member of MEISA, WIM, Phi Eta Sigma, and Mu Kappa. In addition to her leadership roles, MeiLi enjoys working in the game room with her fellow staff members, where they create a fun and relaxed environment for ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ to enjoy. Over the past three years, she has built lasting connections with ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ who frequently come by to hang out. MeiLi’s advice to fellow ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ is to be open-minded, explore new opportunities, and build a solid support system early on. She encourages everyone to join clubs, get involved, and take on new challenges. When she’s not studying or engaging in campus activities, MeiLi enjoys spending time with friends, attending Hofstra events, and exploring the city. Being involved in such diverse fields has given her valuable experiences, and she’s grateful for the many opportunities available to ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ at Hofstra.
