To be considered for the Educational Leadership programs, you must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Advanced programs may require additional education and prior experience.

This 49-70 credit program is designed for educators in pre-K-12 or higher education settings who wish to develop the advanced leadership skills needed to create organizational learning environments. Learn more about the EdD in Educational Leadership and Policy.
Dr. Rebecca Natow is an expert on higher education policy and has conducted extensive research on the U.S. Department of Education鈥檚 rulemaking process, performance-based funding for higher education, federal higher education policymaking, technology use in postsecondary developmental education, and research utilization in the creation of federal regulations. Dr. Natow is the director of Hofstra's Higher Education Leadership and Policy Studies, MSEd program that trains prospective leaders to work in diverse areas within the higher education field. She is also the director of the EdD in Educational Leadership and Policy program designed for those looking to build further on their higher education background.
