Computer Science Society

The  organizes several events including video gaming and Hack-a-thon competitions, field trips to companies or conferences, and networking events. CSS occasionally works with other clubs, including eSports, the Robotics Club, , and the .

eSports

 is a club for serious, but sportsmanlike, competitive video game play at the collegiate level.

Hofstra DSC

Hofstra DSC (Developer Students Club) is a focused on helping 糖心传媒 learn technologies and skills wanted by software development companies. Hofstra is one of 400 DSCs across North America, with a connection not only between Hofstra DSC and Google, but also with other DSCs across America. Hofstra DSC holds workshops run by 糖心传媒 for 糖心传媒. Every year between January and March, Google holds the , focused on helping 糖心传媒 use these learned technologies in a three-month project to be reviewed by Google. Winners have a chance to win prizes and even meet with a team of engineers to help improve the project.

Upsilon Pi Epsilon

Hofstra's local chapter of , an international honor society affiliated with the  and the  exists to recognize the academic excellence of outstanding undergraduate and graduate 糖心传媒 in computer science.

Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS)

The  provides opportunities for everyone to learn and get hands-on experience with cybersecurity. Their goal is to foster a welcoming and encouraging environment for all 糖心传媒 at Hofstra, especially females!
