ARE YOU A HOFSTRA UNIVERSITY ALUM AND A VETERAN OF THE U.S. ARMED FORCES?

If so, you are automatically a member of the Hofstra Veterans Alumni Chapter (HVAC), and there are no dues.

The HVAC was established in 1998 by a group of dedicated Hofstra Veteran Alumni with the following objectives:

• To continue to honor Hofstra alumni who served or are serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.
• To create scholarships to assist veterans and their offspring who attend Hofstra.
• To support the educational aspects of the ROTC program and its cadets at Hofstra.

With the growing number of student veterans, we recently added the following objective, “to provide assistance and guidance to Hofstra student veterans making the transition from military to academic life.”

HVAC is an active member of the ���Ĵ�ý Alumni Organization, participates in and supports many University functions.

The Veterans Alumni Chapter Endowed Scholarship, established several years ago and funded purely by contributions and stock market activity, has awarded thousands of dollars to ���Ĵ�ý who are veterans and/or their offspring.

As HVAC is a growing organization with members across the USA, communication and connection is essential.
