A Medication Request Form must be filled out by your child's physician, and must either be sent into the camp office ahead of time or accompany the medication being dropped off.

Medication must be in the original container, including the label with your campers name, dosage, and the prescriber's name.

Outdoor Exploration Sampler
July 27 - August 7

This program will take place at Nassau BOCES Brookville Environmental Center and at Caumsett State Historic Park.

Campers need to bring lunch each day.

Your two week enrollment includes:

Marine Biology (July 27 - July 31)
There鈥檚 a whole world beneath the waves just waiting to be explored. Get ready to discover what life is like under the sea through hands-on activities, up-close encounters, and cool experiments. You鈥檒l explore different marine habitats, collect specimens, and make exciting new discoveries about how ocean life really works. Campers should bring swimsuits and/or a change of clothing.

Daily activities include canoeing, seining, saltmarsh hike, plankton and horseshoe crab studies.

Survival Skills (August 3 - August 7)
Get ready to test your skills and push your limits! In this hands-on adventure, campers team up to tackle survival challenges like building fires, knot tying, constructing shelters, and finding their way through the wild. Along the way, you鈥檒l build confidence, sharpen your leadership skills, and discover the true meaning of teamwork and resilience in the great outdoors. Campers should wear closed toe sneakers every day and should bring a pair of long pants with them each day.




Water Adventure
August 10 - August 14

Note: Campers need to bring lunch each day.

Make a splash this summer with the ultimate water adventure! Each day brings a new challenge on the water鈥攚hether you鈥檙e kayaking, paddleboarding, or testing your teamwork in epic raft-building competitions. Campers learn real-world water skills like navigation, rescue techniques, and aquatic safety鈥攁ll while building confidence, leadership, and teamwork. Dive in and experience the thrill, fun, and challenge of mastering life on the water! Campers should bring swimsuits and/or a change of clothing.

Participants learn resilience, leadership, and the importance of camaraderie through a series of outdoor activities.



Note: This program will take place at Oyster Bay Waterfront and at Caumsett State Historic Park.


Schedule: These are full day programs in Outdoor Education. All classes take place at their location listed above between 10am-3pm. If you opt to use Hofstra Summer Camps transportation camp times will vary.
